Department of Biotechnology of the Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) invites applications for a fixed-term Technical Staff position in the area of high-quality automatic and manual annotation of microbial genomic data. The applicant is expected to coordinate programmers and annotators to implement supporting systems which assist annotators to improve the efficiency and quality of their work. His/her background must include handling of sequence and annotation databases in relational and XML formats, in-depth knowledge as well as developmental skill of bioinformatics tools to evaluate sequence similarity, protein domains, molecular phylogenetical relationships, and biological functions.
