説明 The initial step of the aerobic benzoate degradation system is hydroxylation by benzoate 1,2-dioxygenase (to 2-hydro-1,2-dihydroxybenzoate). The second step is reduction by 1,6-dihydroxycyclohexa-2,4-diene-1-carboxylate dehydrogenase (to catechol).
